Note to undergraduate students newly accepted to McGill: A discrepancy between the minimum number of credits required to complete your program, as indicated in your letter of acceptance, and as displayed on your transcript, may appear. This temporary discrepancy may be caused by CEGEP credits or transfer credits that have not yet been applied to your McGill transcript.

It displays the program name, major (major concentration), concentration, and minor (minor concentration).
TERM GPA
GPA for the term.
CUM GPA
Cumulative GPA to date.
Advanced Standing & Transfer Credits
Total transfer credits accumulated to date.
TOTAL CREDITS
Total credits to date including both McGill credits and transfer credits ( if transfer credits exist on the record).
Att Cr (attempted credits)
Grades are defined as counting or not counting in attempted credits. For example, courses with grades of A, B etc count in attempted credits, but courses with grades of W do not count in attempted credits.
Earned Cr
Credits earned by the student for McGill courses, for a term and cumulatively.
GPA Cr
The denominator for the calculation of the GPA, for a term and cumulatively.
Points
The numerator for the calculation of the GPA, for a term and cumulatively.
Note: If the term immediately prior to Fall 2002 does not display credit and/or GPA information, then there is no credit and/or GPA information to carry forward to later terms.
Fall - all courses completed by the end of the fall term (February Graduation, June Convocation)
Winter - all courses completed by the end of the winter term (May Graduation, May/June Convocation)
Summer - all courses completed by the end of the summer term (October Graduation, October/November Convocation
The student holds table is displayed after the student name and number (if the student has holds on his/her record).
Registration status codes display with a course until the course is graded. You may view the following codes:
RW | - Registered on the Web |
RE | - Registered |
RL | - Registered from Waitlist |
RI | - Registered - credit will be granted and the course will be included in the GPA. The RI registration status may display when the course would not normally (underline normally) be eligible for credits. An example would be a course which is repeated but has a different topic. |
RA | - Registered - NO credit will be granted for the course but it will be included in the GPA |
RX | - Registered - NO credit will be granted for the course and the course will NOT be included in the GPA |
RR | - Registered - the course is being repeated but credit will be granted only ONCE for the course. The course will be included in the GPA. The course that will count for credit will be determined at the time that the grade is available on the transcript. |
As for the other registration statuses, the ones indicating a course withdrawal display until a grade is recorded on the transcript. When the grade of W displays the registration status will not.
